Corporate Enforcement Officers 'pursue those guilty of environmental offences'

Six people have been convicted in relation to 10 environmental offences in the period from 1 January 2015 and 13 March 2015.
A further six individuals are due to appear in court charged with environmental offices in the coming months – one in April and two in May.
Three appeared at court in March.
Councillor Jacqui Beswick said: “Our small team of Corporate Enforcement Officers continue to pursue those guilty of environmental offences.”
In April 2014 a case of fly-tipping at Healey Dell Nature Reserve resulted in total fines, costs and victim surcharges of just under £9,000.
