The event included clog dancing and folk music, a Morris dancing demonstration from Queensway Royals, a visit from the community poet Norman Warwick, stalls, and a ‘have a go’ session, as well as face painting, badge making and sunflower painting for the children.

Free window alarms, personal safety alarms and light timers were handed out.
Residents also received advice from the Fire Service.
