Hopwood Hall named Greater Manchester’s top college
Hopwood Hall College has been named as the best performing college in Greater Manchester, according to the Government’s national success rates tables.
The College is at the top of a list of Greater Manchester’s further education colleges for the second year in a row.
Success rates are a measure of how many students complete and pass the course they studied. The College’s success rates over the last year stands at 87.8%, keeping it in the top spot. The College is now ranked 31st out of 218 general further education colleges nationally, up 54 places.
Derek O’Toole, Hopwood Hall College Principal commented: “For the second year running we have shown that Hopwood Hall College is the best. We are all incredibly proud of this. Having the highest success rates of all the further education colleges in Greater Manchester and being in the top 35 nationally is testament to the College’s commitment to providing the best teaching and learning resources for our students.”
