Littleborough Library Easter event

Date published: 08 April 2015

Over 50 children attended Littleborough Library’s Easter Event yesterday (Tuesday 7 April).

Those involved enjoyed a treasure hunt in the sunshine around Hare Hill Park, name the bunny competition, games and a free Easter egg themed arts and craft workshop by The Star Tree Studio.

Shabana Afzal, Library and Information Assistant at Littleborough Library, said: “It’s been great fun having The Star Tree Studio working with us at Littleborough Library. The workshop has been really creative - the children have loved the crafts and were very enthusiastic.”

Neela Jackson, from The Star Tree Studio, said: “We were delighted to be invited by Littleborough Library to provide activities at this popular community event. We always appreciate organisations asking us to get involved in their events, as one of our aims is to provide activities that benefit the community and that families can enjoy together.

“It gives the Studio a great platform to show people what we do and we are very grateful to the library, The Friends of Hare Hill Park, the Pennines Township and Rochdale Council for supporting the event and allowing us to work in partnership with them.”
