Inspiration Ministries Rochdale opened in Kirkholt on Sunday (5 April).

Rev Dr Barry Harding-Rathbone said: “We had a stupendously positive response to our first service, despite it being Easter Sunday and beautiful weather.

“On top of the large congregation (we had people standing), we had a wonderfully vibrant energy running throughout and great messages from the spirit world sealed the evening.”

Musically, as part of the desire to be more current and welcoming, the congregation sang hymns that fitted Bruno Mars’ 'Uptown Funk' and Pharrell Williams' 'Happy'.

Located on Kindare Crescent, divine service with communion and demonstration of mediumship will be held on the first Sunday of every month and the week will be filled with activities including private readings, spiritual development classes, meditation classes and clinics for spiritual healing with trained and insured practicing healers.
