Six foot snake found in bath
A six foot snake was found in a bath at an address on Halifax Road this morning (Tuesday 7 April).
Police officers were called to the address after they received a call from a female stating that she had found the snake.
Rochdale North officer, DC Wallace was first on the scene to rescue the snake, which is believed to be either an Albino Northern Pine snake or a Bull Snake.
The snake is now at Rochdale Police Station waiting to be collected by the RSPCA.
If you or anyone you know has lost their beloved pet snake, please call the RSPCA on 0300 123 8028.
