Road traffic collision involving two cars on Church Street, Littleborough

A road traffic collision involving two cars occurred on Church Street, Littleborough on Friday morning (3 April).

It is understood that a blue car collided with a red car on the mini roundabout in the centre of Littleborough. The red car then hit a bollard on the pavement.

Eye witnesses say that the local newsagent, who saw the accident, was first on the scene and helped a lady from the red car, which was smoking and looked likely to catch fire.

Those involved suffered minor injuries and police confirmed that no arrests were made.
