Cash snatched at cash machine

Police officers in Middleton are currently investigating a theft which occurred at an ATM machine on Tuesday (31 March).
The victim withdrew some money from the ATM machine at Barclays Bank on Long Street, Middleton at 12pm. On removing the cash from the machine, the offender snatched the notes out of the victims hand and made off.
Police state that enquiries are currently ongoing to identify the offender.
A spokesperson for Middleton Police said: “We would ask members of the public to remain vigilant whilst using cash machines to ensure that you don’t become a target for thieves.”
