Thieves target Tesco Express

A tunnel created by criminals to access the cash machine was discovered at Tesco Express on Whitworth Road in Rochdale last Wednesday (18 March).
A spokesperson for Tesco has said: “We were extremely disappointed that thieves had targeted our ATM, which is of great use to our customers and the community.
“We'll be assisting the police with their investigations and will work to have the cash machine up and running as soon as we can."
An investigation into the incident is under way to find those responsible for the crime.
