Students at Hopwood Hall College were treated to a special visit by Coronation Street actor Marc Anwar.
Marc, who plays Sharif Nazir in the hit TV programme, visited the students who are studying work skills, to talk about performance skills, how to get on in the industry and the career progressions open to young people.
As well as offering his advice to the students, Marc was also happy to answer questions about his time on Coronation Street.
Jacqueline Wills, Skills for Life lecturer at Hopwood Hall College, who organised Marc’s visit commented: “We were delighted that Marc could take time out of his hectic schedule to visit our students. It was great for them to hear about the industry first-hand. They got some great hints and tips on how to improve their performance skills and really enjoyed the session. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Marc for coming along.”
