Hare Hill Heroes celebrate National Open Your Umbrella Indoors Day on Friday 13th
The Hare Hill Heroes met to draw attention to the pressing problem of water ingress which continues to cause damage to the building. The volunteers celebrated 'National Open your Umbrella Indoors' day on Friday 13 March
Project Champion, Nick Andrews said: "We are very grateful for the all the support provided by the volunteers and local companies. We have submitted our grant application to the Heritage Lottery Fund but it will be some time before we know the outcome. In the meantime we are aiming to raise the resources to carry out some repairs to seek to prevent further ingress of water."
The Hare Hill Heroes continue their efforts to bring this much loved building back in to a positive and beneficial use for the community.
