Occupants lucky to escape traffic accident and car fire on Edenfield Road

The occupants of two cars involved in a road traffic accident were lucky to escape with only minor injuries on Friday (13 March).
The collision and vehicle fire happened at around 10.30pm on Edenfield Road, Rochdale near to its junction with Moorland Avenue.
A black Chrysler and a Skoda were involved in the accident, which saw the occupants treated on site by paramedics.
Edenfield Road was closed for some time but reopened at around midnight.
