Burst water pipe on Lobden Crescent, Whitworth

Residents living on Lobden Crescent, Whitworth were left without water this morning (Monday 16 March) due to a burst water pipe.
The problem was first reported to United Utilities at 6.21am with engineers on site as soon as possible.
The issue was then resolved at 9.41am with United Utilities saying: “Our team of engineers has finished repairing the leaking pipe on Lobden Crescent and the water should be starting to flow normally again.
“However, it may take up to two hours for the water pressure to return to normal levels.
“We are sorry if this has affected you and thank you for your patience.”
