Man dies in M60 collision

A man died following a collision between a red Skoda and a black BMW at junction 19 M60 clockwise at around 6.30am this morning (Friday 13 March).
The man driving the Skoda died at the scene.
Inspector Tony Allt, said: “Our thoughts and sympathies are with the man’s family at this tragic time.
“We are working to piece together the events leading up to the collision and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and speak to us.
