Dragon Boat Race returns for Springhill Hospice

Rochdale Round Table is set to hold a Dragon Boat Race again this year for Springhill Hospice following the success of the inaugural event last year.
Last year’s event was a huge success and raised over £10,000 for the Hospice.
The Round Table is now looking for teams to get involved.
The event will take place at Hollingworth Lake on Saturday 30 May starting at 10am.
As well as the Dragon Boat races, other activities including stalls and activities for children will be on site.
Originating from China over 2,000 years ago the history of the Dragon Boat Race is steeped in magical yet heroic myth with Dragon Boat Racing quickly becoming the world’s fastest growing water sport.
The cost is £25 per person and that is based on 16 people per boat.
