Two juveniles arrested for stealing £70 worth of chocolate
Date published: 19 February 2015
Two juveniles were arrested on Wednesday (18 February) after they stole £70 worth of chocolate from Tesco, Middleton.
The boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were arrested just after 2.30pm when they were caught by a PCSO as they ran from the store.
They had taken 35 bars of chocolate from an aisle, thrown them into a basket and run.
It then transpired that they had attempted the same crime at the Co-Operative store in Heywood but were caught by their teacher.
Once at the station, the boys gave false details but were recognised by a local officer.
