GMP statement on historic sexual offences in Middleton

Greater Manchester Police has issued a statement saying it has not received any information naming a man responsible for historic sexual offences in Middleton.
This relates to officers speaking to a woman on 16 February 2015 regarding a report of historic sexual assault.
A spokesperson said: "A team of specially trained officers are continuing to offer support to the victim as she considers what course of action she would like to take next with the matter.
"Greater Manchester Police takes all reports of this nature extremely seriously and will investigate all complaints thoroughly."
