Springhill Hospice has received a £500 donation from ITV after key scenes for a forthcoming drama, ‘The Trials of Jimmy Rose’, starring Ray Winstone, were filmed at College Bank.
ITV were delighted with the help they received and wanted to show their gratitude by supporting the community.
Location manager Anna Lee visited the hospice to present the cheque and learn more about its vital work.
Anna said: “It was a very moving experience to visit the hospice and meet the dedicated staff who perform such wonderful work.”
Sarah Lee Ford, Income Services Manager at Springhill Hospice, said: “On behalf of everyone here I would like to say a huge thank you to ITV for their donation, which will be a great help to us.”
