Anti-Social Behaviour
Friday (13 February) we carried out a joint operation with partners from the Metrolink and Rochdale Bus Station.

This is in response to calls we have received of groups of youths causing annoyance in and around the centre of Rochdale.

We will be utilising anti-social behaviour legislation to tackle the problem, and a dispersal zone will be in operation.

Using the dispersal zone it is possible to disperse groups of two or more people from areas where there is persistent anti-social behaviour. One given a dispersal order, a person must leave the area for anything up to 48 hours.
