Littleborough artist Peter Reed to exhibit in Todmorden

Littleborough artist Peter Reed it set to hold an exhibition of his work in Todmorden.

The self-taught artist will be displaying an exhibition of work entitled ‘Nostalgia’, which consists of memories of the artist and pieces of work which will jog the memory of the viewer.

Peter, an ex-policeman, later went on to become a businessman and believes that his chosen career paths have given him a vast experience of life. Through his jobs he has seen life’s rich tapestry of happiness, sadness, grief, joy and a whole spectrum of other emotions.

He is an artist whose work is inspired by his experiences. These experiences are then reflected in his work. His unique style is shown in landscapes.

He has previously had exhibitions at Littleborough Coach House, Littleborough Gallery and Blackburn City Galleries and is a regular exhibitor at Touchstones in Rochdale town centre.

His work is also on display in in Holland, Germany, France, Spain, Canada and Australia.

His latest exhibition will begin on Saturday (14 February) at Brook Street pop up gallery in the inside market, Todmorden.

His work will be displayed until Tuesday 31 March.
