Hospice News

The new Middleton shop will be on Saturday (14 February).

The shop is located at 18-20 Wood Street and will be opened from 10am. It is described as an “emporium” for the Hospice.

As well as supporting the Mayor’s Quiz, teams from the Hospice will also be getting involved. The Borough’s Got Brains Quiz Night will be held on Thursday 26 February at the Town Hall and is raising money for the Mayor’s chosen charities.

The Lucy Cobb fashion show being held for Mother’s Day on Thursday 12 March is sold out.

The Hospice will be continuing with the Mayor’s Country Fete that was held last year but will be making it bigger. Following on from the successful event that Mayor Carol Wardle held in September, the fete will be a traditional summer fete and will hopefully include things such as coconut shies and guess the cake games as well as stalls and attractions.

The new Hospice website will hopefully be ready to launch in a few weeks.
