Littleborough crash scene outside of Murco Petrol Station
Due to a car crash outside of Murco Petrol Station in Littleborough, Church Street is currently closed at both ends (3.00pm Wednesday 11 February).
Police were called to Church Street at 2.08pm after the crash was witnessed by a worker at the petrol station.
The driver of a black Chevrolet has gone into the back of a parked white Vauxhall Golf which has then collided into a house.
It is understood that the driver of the Chevrolet was an 83-year-old woman.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service arrived on scene at 2.15pm and are assisting with first aid.
The elderly female and an elderly male, who is believed to have been a passenger in the Chevrolet, were both complaining of neck and back pain and are receiving first aid treatment.
Both are conscious and breathing and injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
UPDATE: Church Street, Littleborough has now re-opened (5.00pm Wednesday 11 February).
