Metrolink strike called off
Date published: 10 February 2015
Town Centre Metrolink stop
Tomorrow's (Wednesday 11 February) planned tram strike is off after a last minute deal between Metrolink bosses and union reps.
Services were due to grind to a halt for all of Wednesday, which would have disrupted Manchester United's home game against Burnley, but will now run as usual after a pay dispute was settled.
A new pay offer has now been made and union members will consider it before voting on whether to take further strike action.
