RBH employees sated their appetites for a good cause on Friday 30 January when the HR & Learning Team held a cake sale to raise money for the RBH Charity of the Year, Springhill Hospice.
The cakes went down a treat and the fayre was so good that all the baking sold out within ten minutes. RBH Deputy Chief Executive, Nickie Hallard, and Director of Customer Services, Cath Owston, were left disappointed after arriving too late to source a slice.
Elaine Taylor, RBH Head of HR & Learning, said: "We were astounded and delighted that the cakes sold so quickly, and really pleased to raise money for such a great cause."
The sale raised £74.64 for Springhill Hospice.
