Beauty has the perfect home

Date published: 04 February 2015

Beauty, a dog that was being cared for by the RSPCA Animal Centre in Rochdale now has a new home.

After an appeal was made by the RSPCA and Rochdale Online, the perfect home has been found for Beauty who needed a new home after her owners made the heart breaking decision to rehome her in November.

RSPCA Animal Centre Branch Manager Jean Spencer said: “She is doing really well and has settled in her new home. It is the perfect home for her so we are really pleased.”

Beauty has now gone to live in Denton in Manchester with a couple who are retired and semi-retired.

Beauty is doing well in her new home and is good when she is taken out for walks, she is only left alone for two hours during the week and is being trained by her new owners.

“Whatever I said to the couple about Beauty, they turned it into a positive. I told them she was cheeky and tried to get in bed and they didn’t mind. I told them she often tried to sit on the sofa and again, they didn’t mind and told us that their old dog did similar things, so it was all very positive,” added Jean.

Beauty had to be rehoused after suffering from horrific injuries after getting into a fight with another dog.

She is just one example of the work that the RSPCA Animal Centre do on a daily basis.
