Gritters take to some roads

Snow covered Kiln Lane
Gritters have been on the roads in the borough.
The council stated on its website: “We've been gritting overnight and this morning to keep you moving.”
Not everyone was happy with Gail Stewardson saying: "Same old story every single year, main roads in Littleborough covered in snow and don't seem to have been gritted. This was expected, not out early enough."
Former councillor, Andy Kelly said: "I knew three days ago it was going to snow today. How come Rochdale Council can't get Kiln Lane gritted?"
