St Margaret’s Primary School visits Rochdale Sixth Form College
Date published: 15 January 2015
Thirty children aged 10-11 from St Margaret’s Primary School in Heywood spent the afternoon at Rochdale Sixth Form College as part of their project on aspirations.
The children were greeted by Rochdale Sixth Form College’s student council members who gave them a tour of the building and discussed the various subjects that you can study at the college.
They were also given the opportunity to take part in practical science experiments in the onsite laboratories which they were all very impressed with.
Heather Ellison, Assistant Principal at Rochdale Sixth Form College, said: “The children were so enthusiastic and asked a lot of questions.
"They all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we hope the day will encourage them all to work hard in their studies so that one day they too can enjoy all that Rochdale Sixth Form College has to offer them.”
