Police and the fire service at the scene of the accident on Manchester Road
A woman was trapped in her vehicle and had to be freed from the car following a two car accident on Manchester Road last night (Tuesday 13 January).
She suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The accident happened at 7:30pm on Manchester Road near to its junction with New Barn Lane.
Police closed Manchester Road between New Barn Lane and Tweedale Street whilst they dealt with the incident.
