Rochdale Diversity Awards 2015

Date published: 06 January 2015

The Rochdale Diversity Awards promote the excellent work being done by individuals and employers in supporting and promoting equality, diversity and cohesion within the borough.

The awards aim to motivate service providers by ensuring equality and diversity issues are central to the remodelling and transformation of local services and organisations affected by austerity measures.

What are the benefits to your organisation?

In addition to supporting and promoting a very important service and leadership issue for and within your organisation, you will be part of a high profile community initiative that includes the following unique selling points for Rochdale Diversity Awards:

  • There are no other similar awards across Greater Manchester or the North West.
  • The scheme will be attractive to sponsors as it supports activities that strengthen community cohesion and demonstrates commitment to equality and diversity.
  • The awards highlight strategic intent and best practice service delivery that has made a demonstrable difference and is sustainable and on-going.
  • The awards stimulate further improvement and innovation in service delivery and/or organisational commitment to equality and diversity
  • The award ceremony will be attended by an audience from different sectors coming together to share learning, celebrate local best practice and stimulate collaboration opportunities.

How can you get involved?

This year there is an opportunity for you to join in and support the Rochdale Diversity Awards and help us build on the excitement and media coverage to further increase the profile of Rochdale and raise aspirations within our community and local service providers.
