Free speech for Ben Jones
Date published: 30 December 2014
A Level student, Ben Jones recently made an impressive TV debut appearing on BBC Three’s live discussion and debate show, Free Speech.
The show, currently in its third series, is designed to give the viewers the chance to speak up about current issues.
Ben, currently in his final year at Rochdale Sixth Form College studying Business, English Language and Media, jumped at the opportunity to appear on the popular debate show alongside former T4 presenter, Rick Edwards and Radio 1 broadcast journalist, Tina Daheley.
Ben said: “Appearing on Free Speech was a really exciting experience for me, I got to see what goes on behind the scenes of a live TV show, meet Rick and Tina and I also had my voice heard on important issues within our society.
"I hope I did Rochdale proud.”
Free Speech, season three, is currently available to view online/on demand via BBC iPlayer.
