Motorcyclist breaks legs and collarbone in collision with Mercedes on Kingsway

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision this morning (Monday 22 December).
The motorcyclist is believed to have suffered two broken legs and a broken collarbone. The injuries are being described as serious but not life threatening.
The incident occurred near to Morrisons petrol station on Kingsway at 8:45am.
It is understood that the motorbike and a grey Mercedes collided.
The road was closed for a short while but has since reopened.
