Freehold Community Group jingle bell ball

Freehold Community Group held their annual Christmas party on Saturday (20 December) to bring members of the local community together.
Held at Castlemere Banqueting Hall the event saw families from the local area come together to celebrate Christmas.
Neil Gibson, Community Development Officer at Freehold Community Group, said: “This is an annual event that we do as a way to bring everyone together from different backgrounds to have a good time and to create community cohesion.”
The free event included a DJ, buffet, party games and a visit from Father Christmas.
Neil added: “It is a really popular event and we can usually see up to 180 people walk through the doors.”
Freehold Community Group started in 2000 and offers activities and classes for the community of Freehold.
“It is a really good event and is getting bigger every year,” added Neil.
