On Wednesday 10 December 2014 it was the annual Manchester Medical Society Christmas Lecture for Young People.

This year, Year 10 watched Professor Ian Roberts from Oxford, with "Death Investigation in the 21st Century: will post mortem imaging kill the autopsy?"

As usual it was a very interesting lecture not for the faint hearted, showing many graphic pictures of dead bodies after their post mortem.

As most of year 10 wish to study science further at University it was an enlightening insight into life in their future having an invasive autopsy or a CT scan to determine the cause of death.

The school travelled to Altrincham for the Inter School Swimming Cup. In total five medals were won.
