Rape reported on Ainsworth Street was false
At 12.35am on Thursday 4 December 2014, police were called following reports of rape near to the Ainworth Street area of Rochdale.
Police have now confirmed the report was false, a spokesperson said: "Officers investigated and are now treating this as a false report."
