Pesentation on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership
Date published: 29 November 2014
A presentation on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) at the Lancashire Fold, Middleton was led by Dr Gabriel Siles-Brügge, Lecturer in Politics at the University of Manchester.
Representatives of political parties who had responded to invitations also gave presentations of their personal views on TTIP.
The presentations were followed by a lively and informed debate with members of the public asked questions and expressed their own views on this important issue.
The event was the first to be sponsored by B.O.L.D. Northern Voices (Building Our Local Democracy), a local non-political aligned pressure group, who believe in a "more open democracy".
