Children in Need Many thanks to those of you who sent donations for Children in Need. A total of £23 was raised. Thank you also to Greggs bakery for their very generous donation of wrist bands for all the children.
A Christmas Cracker A number of our children will be at the Gracie Fields Theatre in Rochdale on Sunday 30 November in a collection of singing and musical performances, including many of those who have been learning a musical instrument and Mr Parr’s KS2 choir. Good luck to all! If you, as a parent, want to go and watch, enquire at the school office regarding tickets.
Christmas Cards Many thanks to everyone who ordered their child’s Christmas Cards. We hope you liked them. We made £486.58 profit for PTA funds.

We have some beautiful Christmas gift sets on sale in school. They vary in price from £3 to £20 and are filled with toiletries, chocolates, gardening items, movie night, food etc. If you would like to take a look at them please come to the school office.
Robinwood Trip for Y5 I’m delighted that so many of our Y5 children ( over 90% ) have signed up for the trip to Robinwood Outdoor Centre for a residential visit from 1 to 3
December. I believe that such experiences, away from home and in group adventurous activities, are a vital element in the opportunities we offer for our children.
Our Governors agree and have, for the second year, made money in the school budget available to subsidise the visit to make it affordable for all.
