Insp Michelle Hughes, Rochdale North Neighbourhood said: "It has been a busy week for the Rochdale North INPT Team. Our priorities remain tackling burglaries and ensuring victims of domestic abuse get the best possible help and support.
"Rochdale North wards suffered 14 reports of burglaries the past week. These have been fairly evenly spread with the exception of Spotland and Falinge, suffering five.
Bamford = 0

Norden = 2
Rochdale Central = 2
Rochdale Town Centre = 1
Spotland and Falinge = 5
Milkstone and Deeplish = 2
"There has been a decrease of shed and garage breaks this past week, Rochdale North suffering four.
"Officers remain dedicated to the ‘Dark Nights’ operation and are working tirelessly to capture and keep burglars at bay.
"We have been targeting offenders and focussing on ways to prevent offences taking place. We are undertaking daily checks on suspects and giving attention to the hot-spot areas.
"One thing we have noted is a number of burglaries taking place due to insecurity and homes left in darkness."
