Date published: 04 November 2014

Wendy Lane Vets in Rochdale has won a national award. The Rochdale based veterinary surgery beat off all-comers to win the Good Vet Guide Practice of the Month award for October 2014.

Wendy Lane was the highest rated practice in the UK based on customer feedback, including the RSPCA who rated the standard of care provided as “excellent”.

Phil Bareham, from Wendy Lane Vets, said: “It is great to receive the award. It is really nice to know that our clients appreciate the work that the team put in.

“It is also really nice to get that feedback from the RSPCA. We carry out a lot of work for the local RSPCA shelters so it is nice to get that recognition from them. I see it as more of a partnership with the RSPCA and it is nice to work with them and help their animals.”

Sarah Deadman of the Good Vet Guide said: “We are delighted to make this award to Phil Bareham and his dedicated team. Competition is very stiff but the quality of care delivered by Wendy Lane shone through in the client reviews received.”
