Rochdale Pioneers 170th anniversary
To celebrate the Rochdale Pioneers 170th anniversary, the Rochdale Pioneers Museum is hosting an event on Saturday 1 November (11am - 3pm) with things for all ages and interest to see and do.
Take a guided tour of the Pioneers original 1844 store.
Try your hand a transcribing a page of the Pioneers historic minute book.
There will also be activities for children to tie in with the National Big Draw Festival including making a Pioneer mask, dressing as a Pioneer and creating a Pioneer Christmas decoration to go on the Rochdale Pioneers Museum’s tree at St Chad’s Christmas Tree Festival tree.
Drop in, no need to book. Free but donations welcomed.
