Three awards for Pennines in Bloom

Pennines in Bloom have been successful in Britain in Bloom and have won three awards.
At an awards ceremony for Neighbourhood and Community awards, Pennines in Bloom won:
- Developing award for Milnrow Memorial Park.
- Thriving award (level four) for Hollingworth Lake Country Park.
- Thriving award for The Lady Barn Bowling Club (Milnrow).
Councillor Ann Stottt said: “Such awards are a sign of achievement for the hard work contributed by volunteers from all walks in the community.”
Further award ceremonies are also set to take place and it is hoped that Pennines in Bloom scoop up more awards.
