Oktoberfest comes to Middleton

Food and drink festival, Oktoberfest, returned to Middleton yesterday (Sunday 5 October) for the second year.
Held in Middleton Town Centre, the festival included a licensed bar, microbreweries and food stalls as well as entertainment throughout the day.
Food stalls included Drum and Baste (pizza makers), Pig on a Spit (Hogroast), Mamma Lucia (Mediterranean food) and Big BBQ (Bratwurst).
Microbreweries Priveeter Beers and Hornbeam Brewery offered local, speciality ales and a large selection of lager and wine.
Adam Torevell, Chief Executive of Middleton Town Centre Management, said: “It has been good. We are pleased with the turnout and people have commented about how much they have enjoyed it."
Entertainment was provided by bands Blank Cheque, Mind The Gap and Tigers of Pluto.
