Liam Buckley and Emma Cochrane have raised £1,091.17 for Springhill Hospice by climbing Mount Kinabalu.
The pair decided to do the fundraising to support the Hospice after Liam’s Grandma and Grandad were cared for by the Hospice.
The fundraising was a chance for Liam and Emma to “give something back” after the Hospice provided Liam’s grandparents with the “comfort and dignity” they deserved.
Standing at 4,095 meters, Kinabalu is the tallest peak in South East Asia. Liam and Emma took two days to complete the climb, completing their challenge in 15 hours.
