Man charged with attempted murder

A man has been charged after a woman was found stabbed in Rochdale.
Nazakat Ali (born 12/07/1984) of East Street, Wardleworth, has been charged with attempted murder.
Officers were called shortly after 4.00pm on Monday 29 September 2014 to a house on East Street, Rochdale after reports that a woman had been stabbed.
Officers attended and established a 29-year-old woman had been stabbed numerous times.
She was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital, where she remains in a stable and gradually improving condition.
