Littleborough Community Primary School ice-bucket challenge
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Open/Macmillan coffee morning, as well as the Ice Bucket Challenge that took place a playtime.
Littleborough Community Primary School raised the fantastic sum of £750 for the Macmillan Charity. One child from each class (who had raised the most money) were selected to pour the water over the teachers and Head teacher who were brave enough to take part!
Gardening Club has now started after school on Tuesday's, from 3.15pm - 4.15pm. See Mrs Cavanagh if you are interested.
Please be aware that if your child is in Y6, and elected to try the taster day at Hollingworth High on Monday 6 October, then they need to either be taken or travel there themselves. There will not be a coach from school. You also need to notify Hollingworth that you child wishes to take part.
Y6 are attending 'Crucial Crew' at Bury Interchange on Wednesday 8 October, and Liverpool Maritime Museum on Monday 13 October, Please return slips and money a.s.a.p.
Book Fair will be in school during the week of 13 October, in the dining hall after school.
M6 Theatre Group are in school on Tueday 14 October to entertain the Reception children. Please send money a.s.a.p.
Post Box Studio (photographers) will be in school from Monday 20 October further letter to follow.
Parents evening will be held on Monday 20 and Tueday 21 October. More details to follow.
The PTFA Halloween Disco will be on Thursday 23 October. Further letter to follow.
School breaks up on Friday 24 October, Harvest service will take place at 9.10am in the school hall.
