A lively evening of musical entertainment is promised at the Mayor’s Ball in Rochdale Town Hall on Friday 17 October from 7pm until 1am - and you are invited.
Tickets are now on sale for the annual event which raises money for the Mayor’s charities. This year these are Springhill Hospice, Moorland Home and Youth Link.
You’ll be able to enjoy a fizz reception, followed by a fabulous four-course banquet. Distinguished guests will include the Mayors of Greater Manchester together with local business leaders. Music and entertainment will be provided by a pop rock trio, The Trends and singer and pianist Lydia Gillibrand.
Tickets are now on sale at £35 each or for the discounted price of £300 for a table of 10. There will also be a raffle and auction. The dress code is lounge suits or dinner jacket for men and cocktail dresses or ball gowns for the ladies.
The Mayor, Carol Wardle, said: “I am hopeful we will raise a lot of money which will be used to benefit three great local causes. Your generosity can help so many people and is greatly appreciated. I’m sure that everyone will have a really good time, it’s going to be another spectacular evening.”
Tickets can be purchased by emailing dorothy.johnstone@rochdale.gov.uk or by calling 01706 924773.
All money raised from the event will go to the Mayor’s chosen charities.
