Littleborough coffee morning and ice-bucket challenge
Date published: 27 September 2014
Littleborough Community Primary School held an open day with a difference on Friday morning (26 September) which included a coffee morning and ice-bucket challenge.
The open morning was for parents to visit their children in class.
Many parents took part in lessons, before attending the Macmillan Coffee Morning with the children.
During playtime many 'brave' members of staff took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Children brought money into school for charity; those who brought the most had the privilege of emptying the water over their chosen member of staff!
All money raised today will be sent to Macmillan.
Headteacher, Mrs Martine Sinker said: “We would like to thank everyone who took part to help us raise money for this worthwhile charity.”
