A group of Year 4 & 5 pupils from Beech House visited Holy Family, to play a friendly football match.
The group, who had never played together before, were rotated around various positions to give everybody a chance to show their ability to defend, attack and go in goal.
With plenty of endeavour and hard work coming from the group, they found it extremely difficult to break down the opposition, who were playing quick, tidy football.
The goals were free flowing, unfortunately for Beech House, all in favour of the opposition – five of which came from the penalty spot, as a series of mistakes, and some people forgetting that they were no longer playing in goal!
Holy Family came away with a resounding 10-0 win.
The team however were still in good spirits and with plenty of coaching ahead, the boys will look forward to the next fixture.
