Architectural Gems

Last month the Rochdale Pioneers Museum launched a campaign inviting you to take a photograph of your favourite co-operative building.
The #Coopography initiative has proved popular and so far organisers have received around 100 photographs from members of the public.
Museum Manager Jenny Mabbott says: "We launched #Coopography as we know there are so many co-operative architectural gems all around our town and cities. We wanted people to send us a snap of their favourite and the response has been incredible. However we could do with a few more snaps of co-op buildings in Rochdale Borough."
#Coopography is open to all abilities from keen photographers to enthusiastic Smartphone snappers. The photographs submitted to #Coopography will be included in an exhibition at the Rochdale Pioneers Museum on Toad Lane from 8 November.
There is still time to submit a photograph as entries are open until 20th September and submitting your picture is easy. You can email it to coopography@co-op.ac.uk or simply send it by Twitter or Instagram using #coopography. You can also post photographs on the Museum’s facebook page www.facebook.com/RochdalePioneersMuseum
