Mareika Gray leaves Milnrow Band
Date published: 10 September 2014
Mareika Gray, Milnrow Band Musical Director, has left the band after a successful three year partnership.
A spokesperson for the band said: “The band and its management team would like to thank Mareika for her hard work and inspiration over the last three years and we wish her every success in her future projects. It would also be remiss not to thank Russell Gray for his part in the band's success during this time.
“We now look forward to building on that success by creating a new and exciting chapter in our progression with the appointment of a new professional conductor as soon as possible.
“Resident conductor Kevin Gibbs will continue to keep a high standard of playing week in, week out and we would like to thank him for his hard work throughout the year.”
