Year 7’s start Big School
Date published: 09 September 2014
Year 7 students enjoyed their first few days of school when they started at Siddal Moor on Wednesday.
Students were gently guided into the process of “BIG” school by their Head of Year Bev Wilsher and commented: "I am delighted and proud with how well the Year 7s have engaged and enjoyed their first experiences at Siddal Moor. They are an absolute credit to themselves and their families”.
Students from 7T2 said they had had a great few days and especially liked their ICT and Art lessons because they were more exciting.
Students ended Friday afternoon with pictures taken of them in their new uniforms which will be sent to their old primary schools for display.
Parents of Year 7 students were also invited into school to have individual photos taken with their children and other siblings, some of which will be sent via email to relatives abroad.
